The Dark!

Many people fear the dark even into old age. Some say that fear will keep you alive. Others say fear is a weakness. People who fear the dark only fear themselves. When you look into the darkness you see nothing. You see the unknown. When you realize that you don't know what is there you try to imagine what is there. The great imagination of the human mind will create your worst fears. You try to assume what will happen to you if you step into the dark. You create your own fear. Suddenly you feel helpless. And so you step away from the darkness into the light where you feel safe and warm. We always fear the unknown so we try make the unknown known. When we know what lies in the dark our fear becomes understanding. Understanding becomes Knowledge. Knowledge becomes Wisdom. Many believe knowledge is power. I believe that Wisdom is greater than all power. Eccles,18: Wisdom is better then weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good. But we were just talking about the dark here. Many legends where told have some truth. Some truth in every lie. Every mystery showing some evidence. So many people go missing every day. So many people murdered and raped every second. Everyone has their own beliefs on what is there and what is not there. I just like to put light on a dark situation. Sometimes i don't always have the strength to step into the unknown, but at least i know what i fear. What do you fear? It's not the dark. Not anymore. You fear yourself.
